DROPPING SEPTEMBER 20
DROPPING SEPTEMBER 20
Sky’s interest in fashion began in elementary school, where clothing became more than just something to wear, it was a way to experiment with identity and expression. From a young age, his style constantly adapted to his surroundings, shaped by what he observed and experienced. Whether it was putting together outfits for school, browsing racks in stores, scrolling online for inspiration, or discovering rare archival designer pieces, Sky was always building new ideas. Fashion became a daily creative exercise, a habit of turning curiosity into expression. What started as fascination quickly grew into a lifelong passion for design and storytelling through clothes. His motto, “Bring back swag,” captures this vision: a commitment to reviving confidence, creativity, and authenticity in the industry. Sky wants to bring more attention to fashion as both an art and a movement, something that goes beyond trends to shape how people see themselves and the world around them.
Traveling to more than 75 countries has given Sky a unique outlook on creativity and culture. Each trip added a new layer to his understanding of how people express themselves through clothing, art, and tradition. These experiences shaped the way Sky approaches fashion, not just as design, but as a language that connects people across backgrounds. Travel also sparked an instinct to blend influences, to see fashion as something constantly evolving, and to value originality as much as heritage. Beyond inspiration, it gave Sky the confidence to think differently, to take risks with style, and to approach design with a mindset that is open and boundary-pushing.
Boarding school added another dimension to Sky’s journey, creating space to experiment, share, and grow as a designer. Surrounded by peers with diverse backgrounds, Sky developed the confidence to try new approaches and expand personal style. This period also marked the first time Sky’s work reached a wider audience, most notably through a feature in the school newspaper’s fashion column. That recognition highlighted what fashion means to Sky: not just clothing, but a conversation and a story worth telling. Today, Sky continues to design with the belief that fashion is a living art form, an intersection of culture, creativity, and personal history. Looking ahead, Sky hopes to build a career in the fashion industry, using design as a way to share his passion with the world and inspire others to see clothing as a reflection of individuality and culture.
